Responsibilities
The Wray Parks Department is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the parks and green spaces, for the use and enjoyment of the community.
Reservations are not needed to use any public park for gatherings or events. Covered facilities are available on a first come, first serve basis.
City Park
City Park is a small park located at City Hall on the corner of Hwy 34 and Blake Street. This park contains some smaller playground equipment enclosed within a fenced in area. The highlight to this park are the two half court basketball courts. There is also a nice amount of green space for a multitude of activities.
Restroom Facilities - Yes, during business hours. (Must obtain key from the front desk at City Hall)
PLAZA PARK
Plaza Park is located at 2nd & Main Street. This park was recently renovated with covered picnic table seating. Ample trees provide wonderful shade on hot summer days and there are multiple benches throughout the area for additional seating. This park is great for larger gatherings and picnics.

Rainbow Park
Rainbow Park is a multi-level park located at Jackson Street and Hwy 34. This park has fantastic, colorful playground equipment all set in a sand base great for digging and playing. Another great feature of this park is the giant slide that every kid (and kid at heart) should experience at some point. Trees fill this park, providing lots of shade on hot days. Access to a bridge which crosses over the Republican River takes you to the city's mile long walking/biking trail. This park also contains a large amount of green space to accommodate all sorts of outdoor activities. There are two levels to this park and each level contains a covered area with picnic tables.

Riverside Park
Riverside Park is located in the Wray Shopping Center. This park has fun playground equipment along with an old metal dome climber and swings. Trees shade parts of this long narrow park which falls next to the Republican River. Access to a bridge which crosses over the river takes you to the well maintained walking/biking trail.
Restroom Facilities - No.
Wray Walking/Biking Trail
This mile-long walking and biking trail which runs along the Republican River connects one side of Wray to the other with three parks along its route. The trail is lined with energy efficient solar lighting to provide a safe environment for all Wray residents and visitors. Dog stations and park benches are strategically placed along this trail for convenience.
