  • The Wray Aquatic Center is open every day of the week from end of May to Mid-August. 

    Opening day for 2025 is Tuesday, May 27

  • A family membership for the entire 2025 season is $200 for a family of four living in the same household. Each additional member in the same household is $15. Passes can only be purchased ONLINE ONLY. (A discounted price is available ONLINE ONLY from May 1-9, 2024) 

    An Individual membership is $75.

    Memberships are now ALL ACCESS! What's Included? Open Swims, Night Swims, Tadpole Time, Flick & Floats, Lap Swims & Water Aerobics


    Wray Aquatic Center
    • Ages 0-3 & over age 65 is $3/visit.
    • Ages 4-64 is $5/visit
    • Lap Swim is $3/visit 
    • Water Aerobics is $5/class 

    An All-Access Family or Individual Membership can also be purchased which includes the price of general admission, Lap Swim and Water Aerobics.

  • The outside temperature needs to be 65 degrees or above for the pool to open to the public.

    Session 1: June 9 - 13, 2025 at 10AM & 11AM

    Session 2: June 23 - 27, 2025 at 9AM, 10AM & 11AM

    Session 3:  July 14 - 18, 2025 at 5:30PM, 6:30PM & 7:30PM


    Pre-Registration is Monday, May 12 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM at City Hall Roundhouse. After May 12th you may stop down to City Hall and register for any spots still open.

  • Potential lifeguards must be 15 years old by the last day of the lifeguard training class and must be 16 years old or older in order to teach swim lessons.


    To qualify to work at the concessions or front gate you must be 14 years old or older.

  • The Wray Aquatic Center will be closed for lightning, thunder or heavy rain. Refunds will not be given for early closures due to inclement weather. All closures will be announced over the intercom system during operating hours. All closures will be posted on our Wray Aquatic Center Facebook page and signs will be posted at the entrance to the pool.

  • May 12, 2025 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at City Hall Roundhouse. Cash & Check only. 

    To save time in line, feel free to complete the registration form online and bring it with you to registration.

    You may stop by City Hall anytime after May 12th to register for any spots that are still open.

  • The Library accepts donations of gently used materials.  We will evaluate the material to see if it will be added to the collection.

  • Ask at the circulation desk for a library card application.  You will need a picture identification and verification of your current address.  Parents need to be present to sign their children's applications for a library card.

  • Free wireless Internet access is available at the Wray Public Library.  The library is pleased to offer this service to all the visitors.  There is no time limit on the library's WiFi.

  • You can call the library at 332.4744 and we will be happy to renew it over the phone, or you can stop in.  Renewal limit is based upon holds of the item.

City Hall and Utilities

  • Utility Bills are generated and mailed the 20th of each month and payment shall be paid by the 15th day of the following month to avoid late charges. On or after the 16th day of the month, if statement is not paid in full, a 5% penalty shall be added. Late payment will be collected until the first business day following the 5th of the following month. After the 5th, any unpaid accounts are subject to disconnect. 

    For Example: 

    January 20th - Utility Bills are generated and mailed 

    February 15th - Utility Bill payment due date to avoid late penalty charges

    February 16th - 2% penalty added to all unpaid accounts (For utility bills generated and mailed on January 20th)

    March 5th -  All unpaid accounts are subject to disconnect (For utility bills generated and mailed on January 20th)


    City Hall and Utilities
  • Option 1: Customers may pay their bill by cash, check, or Credit Card at City Hall or by dropping either cash or check payments in either of the two drop boxes provided at 245 West 4th Street.  

    Option 2: Customers may request that their monthly statement be automatically withdrawn from their bank at no charge.  

    Option 3: Customers may make payments through Xpress Bill Pay.

  • Monday – Lincoln Street and west.
    Tuesday – Dexter Street between 3rd and 7th west to city limits and Hale Street between 7th and 11th west to Lincoln Street.
    Wednesday – Hale Street between 7th and 11th east to Blake Street and Dexter between 3rd and 7th east to Main Street.
    Thursday – Main Street between 3rd and 7th east to Grove, Main Street between N.R.R. and 3rd east to Ivy Street and all north of railroad tracks.
    Friday – Southridge, Canyon Court, and Meadowlark Lane.

    Collection sites vary depending on location. The most common collection site is curbside, however some collection sites are located behind your house in the alley. If you are unclear as to which collection site applies to you, please call City Hall at 970-332-4431.

  • The Wray Museum is open weekly Tuesday through Saturday from Noon to 4 pm.

  • Suggested Admission to the Wray Museum is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family. East Yuma County Historical Society Members receive free admission.

  • You pay what you are able to pay, it is not a firm admission fee. This allows people who are on a budget, to pay what they can afford. We  want the Wray Museum to be accessible to everyone, regardless of how much they can spend. Remember admission fees help us maintain our wonderful Museum.

  • Group tours can be schedule at anytime by call the Wray Museum. Please give us a 48 hour prior notice.  There is any additional charge for tours outside of normal business hours.

  • Food and drinks are not allowed in the galleries.  Special permission is granted on a case by case basis for tours and program.

  • We offer Wray Elks Tackle Football, NFL Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball (including coach pitch & T-ball) and Softball.

  • We offer FREE Bike & Trike Races, a FREE day of swimming at the Wray Aquatic Center, a FREE Pickleball Tournament and a Coed Adult Softball Tournament.

  • The City of Wray offers a Spring & Fall Tots of Fun class as well as additional seasonal classes on a regular basis. Please check back regularly on the City Event Page of our website and Wray Recreation Facebook Page and City of Wray Facebook Page for current and upcoming activities.

  • Yes, you can pay with a credit card at City Hall and all recreation activities now accept online registrations. We only accept cash or check at the Wray Aquatic Center.
